Partner With Us
The Recovery Barre brings together movement, mental wellness, and community support in one free, welcoming space for people in and around sobriety. Partner with us by leading a class, hosting in your space, or supporting recovery through sponsorship and collaboration. Every partnership helps bring a free recovery resource to a community that needs it.

Provide a Space for Recovery
Every class needs a home. We partner with treatment centers, recovery and counseling organizations, fitness studios, and community spaces to bring free movement and belonging to people in and around sobriety. Together, we help build recovery capital in the communities we share. Hosting is simple and free:
-
A ready-made resource. A recovery meeting and movement class your community can rely on, at no cost to you or the people you serve.
-
A certified leader. We’ll connect you with a volunteer leader in your area, or work with you to certify a member of your team to lead classes in-house.
-
Easy to offer anywhere. Classes are equipment-free and need only enough room to move and a mat for each participant.
-
Nonprofit support. Your space is listed as a partner on our website, and we promote your new, free recovery resource through local outreach, class listings, and our social, email, and partner network channels.
-
Flexible giving. Classes are always free to attend. Any optional donations directly support your location.

Collaborate or Support
When communities come together, recovery grows stronger. Businesses, other nonprofit organizations, and individuals join The Recovery Barre to keep classes free and make movement a lasting part of recovery support.
-
Support a community. Help bring free classes to a city or neighborhood by funding mats, training scholarships for local leaders, and outreach to recovery partners.
-
Support an event. Help make a free Recovery Barre class or recovery celebration possible, from community gatherings to Recovery Month events.
-
Give in kind. Share space, mats, printing, refreshments, or professional skills that help classes reach more people.
-
Join us at conferences and events. Invite us to lead a free class, share education on movement in recovery, or stand alongside your organization at a resource fair or panel.
-
Build resources together. Partner with us on education, referrals, and shared efforts that connect the people you serve with free, recovery-informed movement.
-

Your support helps someone walk into a free class, find people who understand, and leave feeling a little stronger. Reach out to explore how we can strengthen recovery together.

Lead a Class
Every free class starts with a leader who carries the mission into their own communities, turning one room into many places where people in and around sobriety can move, connect, and belong. Training is offered through our educational partner, Fit Pro Programming, and approved for continuing education credits by ACE, AFAA, and NASM. It equips you with everything you need to lead:

-
A scripted meeting. A repeatable Leader Guide and Community Agreements that honor all sober paths, beliefs, and identities.
-
Recovery-informed movement. A low-impact barre and Pilates class sequenced around the physical needs of early recovery, grounded in barre fundamentals, functional movement patterns, and the six Pilates principles.
-
Trauma-informed, body-neutral cueing. Language that encourages choice, supports autonomy, and helps rebuild trust in the body.
-
Exercise science foundations. Purposeful warm-ups, intentional sequencing, and music at tempos that encourage safe pacing.
-
Equipment-free and plug-and-play, so you can focus on the people in the room.
Once certified, leaders receive ongoing nonprofit support, including local outreach, class listings, promotion, mats, and resources. Join our list to be the first to know when 2027 registration and scholarship applications reopen.
